We all have a goal imaginary version of ourselves we one day hope to achieve and become.  Most are improved positive outlook, physique, financial & social success and overall happiness.  I wish I could tell you I have some mountainous humanitarian goal behind my work and accomplishments that drives me.  I wish I could say I’m doing it out of the goodness of my heart, for the better of others, to truly make a difference, and it is the giving back that keeps me going.

I am, as we all are, a victim, or victor - of circumstance.  I did not choose this life - it chose me.

WRITING. Why?

Writing is just who I am. No matter what happens in my life, writing has always given to me a state of calm, a special room in my mind where I can focus on the life, the sorrow, the experiences of any kind and try to figure out the best from everything.

Living in a foreign country is not easy. Sometimes it's challenging, even bitter.

But I firmly trust everything happens for a reason; each experience has a purpose. I'm still trying to figure out what is the  meaning. Sometimes is not clear at all. But still, I'm here and I'm living an extraordinary life experience, unfolding day by day with unespected surprises.

Leaving my country required courage and probably a little bit of foolishness.

I got a visa for six months for Canada and I left. I didn't have friends or family there, not even a job.

But I'm happy I did it. I'm the witness of my life becoming my dream.

Writing is simply my tool, my way and my passion, beyond what I do for living.

PASSION&PROFESSION...

Our battered suitcases were piled on the sidewalk again; we had longer ways to go. But no matter, the road is life.

I arrived in Montreal on September 2011.

In this time I made so many new experiences and I met so many people from different cultures (different to mine, of course), a bunch of points of view and dreams from all around the world.  Everyone unique and precious. And of course I've often spoken with many Italians landed here at some point of their lives and with many others still in Italy and willing to achieve their dream to move. And everyone has a story to tell. His/her own adventure and personal path.

I understood how important can be sharing what I learnt from my own experience and from the other people, and how valuable that could be for myself and hopefully for someone else.

So, one year after, I've started this new challenge...

writing, sharing, learning!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor.

Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover.
